Nothing beats the smell of fresh dosas and holige being made right in front of your guests. We bring the authentic flavours of Karnataka to your wedding with our live counters.

Watch as my chef expertly prepares a ghee-laden dosa, pouring the batter onto a hot tawa to create that perfect crispy texture. This is a staple at my South Indian wedding catering events.

A close-up of a neer dosa being skillfully prepared. This delicate, paper-thin rice crepe is a coastal Karnataka specialty that I love to include in my wedding menus for its light texture and authentic taste.

The art of making Holige, a traditional sweet flatbread. My chefs prepare the lentil and jaggery filling from scratch and cook it live, serving it hot with a dollop of ghee for a truly festive dessert.

Here you can see the preparation of Akki Roti, a popular rice flour flatbread from Karnataka. We make them on a hot griddle, ensuring each roti is perfectly cooked and has a delightful texture.

To add a touch of fun to the breakfast menu, I offer these heart-shaped idlis. They are just as soft and fluffy as the traditional ones but bring a little extra love to the plate.

A freshly steamed, fluffy vegetable idli, ready to be served. I make sure my idlis are light and airy, perfect for a wholesome breakfast or snack during the wedding festivities.

My Masala Vadas are a crowd favourite. These savoury fritters are made with a coarse paste of lentils, onions, and spices, then deep-fried until golden and crunchy, offering a perfect tea-time snack.

A traditional South Indian breakfast served on a banana leaf. This plate features a dosa, chutney, and a scoop of sweet Kesari Bath, showcasing a simple yet complete meal.

A live dosa counter in full swing at an evening reception. The sight and sound of dosas being made fresh is a key part of the dining experience I create.

A generous pour of ghee onto a hot dosa. I believe in using quality ingredients, and pure ghee is essential for giving our dosas that authentic, rich flavour.

About South Indian Live Classics

When you book our live counters, we do not just bring the food; we bring the kitchen to your venue. Whether it is the precise heat needed for a crispy dosa or the delicate timing required for a steaming hot holige, our chefs handle the entire setup on-site. This ensures every plate served is as fresh as it would be in a traditional home kitchen, rather than sitting in a warm buffet tray.
