We transformed this Gurugram space into a royal dining experience. From intricate jali work to grand chandeliers, we bring classic Indian luxury to modern hospitality.

This video gives a glimpse into the regal atmosphere we crafted for Desi Vibes in Gurgaon. You can see the blend of traditional Indian motifs, from the peacock art to the detailed ceiling work, all coming together to create a cohesive, luxurious dining experience.

This corner shows how we balance different elements. A grand, backlit archway sits next to a bar area featuring a peacock motif, all tied together with traditional carved furniture and rich, warm lighting for a fine dining setting.

The ceiling is a fifth wall that deserves just as much attention. Here, we designed a dark wood coffered ceiling with intricate gold-painted floral patterns and hung opulent crystal chandeliers to create a truly grand and royal ambience.

This project was a true love letter to our heritage. This video shows the scale of the space, from the magnificent chandeliers to the detailed wall panels, all designed to transport guests to a different era of Indian grandeur.

About Luxe Indian Heritage: The Desi Vibes Project

Getting the balance right in a luxury heritage space is tricky. We did not just buy chandeliers; we designed the coffered ceiling to align with our gold floral motifs, ensuring the lighting feels warm and regal rather than harsh. When you walk in, you notice the ceiling is treated with the same precision as the furniture, turning the entire room into a cohesive, royal experience.

Creating a restaurant that feels like a palace requires more than just picking expensive materials. For the Desi Vibes project in Gurugram, we had to bridge the gap between heavy, traditional Indian architecture and the functional requirements of a modern dining space.

The Heritage Challenge

We wanted to capture the essence of Rajasthani and Mughal design without making the space feel dated or cluttered. Instead of just adding decor, we focused on architectural elements that define the volume of the room. The jali screens are custom-crafted to create privacy between tables while maintaining an open, airy feel. This is the difference between a place that looks like a set and a place that feels like a destination.

Why the Details Matter

  • Ceiling Treatment: We treated the ceiling as a fifth wall. By using dark wood, gold-painted floral patterns, and opulent chandeliers, we drew the eye upward and added depth that makes the room feel grander.
  • Lighting: In a luxury restaurant, lighting is the mood. We avoided cold, overhead LEDs. Instead, we used warm wall sconces and focused beams to highlight the textures of our wall panels and mirror work.
  • Functionality: A beautiful restaurant that is hard to manage is a failure. We ensured the traffic flow works for servers even with our grand furniture layouts. My dad and I were on-site to ensure the partition walls and service counters were built exactly to plan, not just to look pretty in a render.

Whether you are planning a fine dining venture or a smaller boutique space, the goal remains the same: creating a 'wow' moment when your customers walk through the door.

Hi, I am Anchal. I do not just design layouts; I build spaces that feel like a love letter to our culture. My dad and I are on-site daily, making sure every jali pattern and archway is built to last. We are a family-run firm that believes a restaurant should have a soul, not just a set of blueprints.
