Born from late-night chats between my mom and me, Desi Classics is our way of keeping nani and dadi’s recipes alive. It is not a brand, but a kitchen sharing the comfort of real, slow-cooked food with your home.

About Our Story: From Our Kitchen to Yours
We operate strictly on a pre-order basis from our Malad West kitchen, needing at least 2 days notice to slow-cook your meal. This is not restaurant-style fast food, but authentic Rajasthani and Sheherwali recipes prepared without preservatives or shortcuts, ensuring every bite tastes exactly like it came from your own home.
Our kitchen journey started with a simple, late-night conversation between my mom and me. We wanted to hold onto the memories of our childhood, specifically the flavors of our grandmothers' kitchens. Since that first batch of snacks four years ago, we have stayed committed to the philosophy that slow recipes are better than fast trends.
Everything you order is prepared fresh. Whether it is our signature Pyaaz Ki Kachori, a full Rajasthani meal crate, or our wellness-focused postpartum ladoos, nothing is sitting on a shelf waiting for a customer. We source ingredients with care, treat them with respect, and cook them in small batches. This means we cannot offer instant, off-the-shelf delivery, but it guarantees that the food arriving at your door in Mumbai has the same quality as a home-cooked meal.
We have expanded from feeding neighbors to catering corporate lunches and large events, but the core of our work remains the same. We are still that mother-daughter team in the kitchen, fixing masalas and laughing. When you choose us, you are not just getting a meal or a hamper. You are supporting a home kitchen that values tradition, family legacy, and the honest, unhurried craft of cooking.
