Each 60-minute session is designed to keep kids engaged through games rather than endless repetition, making this ideal if you want your child to enjoy reading without the pressure of typical classroom instruction.
How We Build Reading Confidence
Many children struggle with reading because it is taught as a series of abstract rules. My phonics program changes that by using a multi-sensory approach. We focus on the Jolly Phonics methodology, which teaches children the 42 letter sounds of English, not just the names of the letters.
What to expect in class:
- Blending Mastery: We spend time on segmenting and blending sounds, which is the foundational skill for reading unknown words.
- Interactive Games: I incorporate 'treasure hunts' and picture-reading activities to keep sessions lively and focused.
- Small Batches: Whether online or in our Navi Mumbai centre, class sizes are kept small (8-12 students). This ensures I can provide individual attention, correcting pronunciation errors in real-time.
- Learning Materials: Every student receives spiral-bound workbooks and access to practice materials, so the learning continues at home between our twice-weekly sessions.
