Core Cricket Skills and Fitness Drills
We build cricketers from the ground up by focusing on the fundamentals. From footwork agility to batting technique, our high-intensity drills ensure every player is match-ready.
We believe speed and agility are the foundation of a great cricketer. This is a look at our footwork and agility drills in action, where we push our players to be quicker and sharper. You'll often hear us shouting "Speed se!" because every moment in training counts.
From the nets to the pitch. This is a snapshot from a Boys Under-14 weekly match, showing one of our batsmen ready at the crease. All our training is designed to prepare players for real match pressure.
This is what a typical training day looks like at our academy. The video shows a mix of net practice for batting, fielding drills to improve reflexes, and general warm-ups to get our players match-ready.
Perfecting technique is key. Here, one of our young batsmen works on his form and shot selection during a dedicated net practice session. We focus on personalized feedback to correct stance and improve power.
About Core Skills & Fitness Drills
Training here is high-intensity because real growth does not happen in the pavilion. We use agility ladders, cone drills, and matting wickets to force focus on your technique rather than just swinging for power. When you are in the nets, expect us to correct your stance or grip instantly because those small adjustments are what actually change your game performance.
Building the Foundation
Cricket is not just about big hits; it is about muscle memory. Whether you are working on your backlift or your run-up, we strip the game back to the basics. Our sessions in Vikaspuri prioritize consistency over flashiness. We utilize matting wickets to ensure true bounce, forcing you to develop a solid defense and precise shot selection.
Speed and Agility
You will hear us shouting "Speed se!" (quickly) because every millisecond matters when a ball is coming at you. We incorporate specific ladder drills and cone work into every session. This is not gym-based fitness; it is cricket-specific movement designed to improve your reaction time in the field and your foot speed between the wickets.
Technical Correction
We do not believe in letting bad habits settle. Our coaches constantly monitor your action, whether it is correcting your head position during a drive or fine-tuning your bowling release point. We run daily drills that allow you to practice, fail, adjust, and eventually master the skill.
Match Preparation
These skills are meaningless without application. Everything we do in the nets is designed to translate into our weekly matches. By the time you step onto the pitch for an Under-14 or Under-12 fixture, your body should already know exactly how to react to pace or spin.
