Cricket Skill Drills & Training in Jaipur
Real game improvement happens on the field, not in textbooks. Here are the drills we use to build reflexes, batting aggression, and bowling accuracy.
A young batsman practices the sweep shot using a batting tee. This drill helps in perfecting the body position, head alignment, and swing path for this important shot against spinners.
A player honing his batting skills in the nets. We use cones as markers to help batsmen judge the length of the ball and practice their footwork for front-foot and back-foot shots.
A practice match in progress on a turf wicket. A batsman gets bowled, a tough but essential part of the learning process. Match simulation is key to our training.
A group of bowlers engaged in bowling drills on the main ground. We work on everything from run-up consistency to release point and follow-through to build effective and repeatable actions.
A fast bowler goes through his warm-up routine before a net session. Proper warm-ups are critical for performance and injury prevention, especially for pace bowlers.
"Shabaash! Bahut badhiya!" A high-intensity fielding drill in progress. We focus on quick pickups and accurate throws to build a sharp and athletic fielding unit.
A close-in catching practice session. Sharp reflexes and soft hands are developed through hundreds of repetitions, making our fielders more confident in match situations.
About this collection
We don't just stand in the nets. We use specific setups like cone markers for footwork and high-frequency catching drills to make sure you react under pressure. If you feel like your net practice isn't showing up in matches, these are the specific drills where we fix your alignment, reaction time, and decision-making.
At PS Sports Academy, our philosophy is simple: 'Bowling mein aggression dikhna chahiye' (aggression must show in your bowling). We move beyond standard drills to push your limits.
Batting Agression & Technique We use tee-work and cone drills to help you perfect specific shots like the sweep. This isn't just about hitting the ball; it's about head alignment, body position, and swing path. Whether you are practicing back-foot play on our Kota stone surfaces or range hitting on turf, the goal is always to get you ready to score runs, not just survive.
Bowling Intent Bowling is about more than just pace. In our drill sessions, we focus on your run-up consistency, release point, and follow-through. We use target hitting with sensors to ensure your yorkers and length balls are repeatable. If you can't hit your mark ten times in a row, the work isn't done.
Fielding Intensity Fielding wins matches. We focus on 'soft hands' and quick reflexes. Our wicketkeeping drills, including unconventional practice like gathering balls while lying on the ground, build core strength and comfort in awkward positions. From slip-catching practice to high-intensity relay throws, we train you to be a sharp, athletic fielder.
We rotate our surfaces between natural turf, AstroTurf, and Kota stone to help you adapt to different conditions—just like you will face in district or state-level tournaments. Bring your kit and come ready to work; we provide the structure you need to get better every single day.
