About My Dance Journey & Fun Moments
People often ask me if I really teach parents or the shyest cousin in the family, and the answer is always a big yes. I do not believe in rigid, complicated steps that stress you out. Whether we are meeting in a Bengaluru studio or connecting over an online video call, my focus is always on making your Sangeet feel like a celebration, not a performance exam.
How I Make Dance Fun
I swapped my desk job for the dance floor because I believe dance is for joy, not stress. My approach is simple: keep it real, keep it easy, and keep it energetic.
For the Non-Dancers: If you have two left feet, do not worry. I specialize in teaching routines to people who have never danced before. Whether it is a solo performance, a couple’s entry, or a group Sangeet dance, I focus on natural chemistry and comfort over technical perfection.
My Creative Process:
- Sangeet Choreography: I build routines that are high-energy but easy to follow, perfect for families of all ages. From romantic couple dances to 'dhamaka' group performances, I help plan the sequence, music mixing, and stage blocking.
- Remote Learning: If you are spread across cities, I have got you covered. My remote packages include mirrored, slow-paced instructional videos and professional audio editing. You get step-by-step breakdowns that make learning from home feel just as personal as being in a studio.
- Garba & Folk: Love a bit of tradition? I love adding Garba and Rajasthani fusion to weddings to get everyone moving. It is always a blast and brings that 'zor ka jhatka' of energy that really kicks off the party.
Making It Work for You
- In-Person (Bengaluru): We meet for 4 to 5 sessions, usually over weekends or evenings to fit your schedule. I come to your home or a rented studio to make it convenient for you.
- Online: I provide custom step-by-step tutorials, mirrored for easier following, plus feedback sessions via voice notes to refine your steps.
My goal is for you to look back at your wedding photos and remember the laughter and the fun, not the stress of learning the routine. Mazza aa jayega!
