Dancing at weddings isn't about perfection, it is about the joy of doing it together. Whether it’s parents, cousins, or the entire squad, I create simple, high-energy routines that make everyone feel like a star.

This one is for all the wonderful chachis and mamis. I choreograph elegant and easy-to-learn routines for Mehendi songs like this, so the ladies of the family can have their special moment to shine.

A classic Falguni Pathak song is perfect for getting everyone from different generations on the dance floor. This nostalgic and fun choreography is simple enough for the whole family to enjoy together.

A family that celebrates together, stays together. This picture from a Haldi ceremony captures the joy of family weddings, the exact feeling I aim to bring to the dance floor.

Sibling love and wedding fun. I love choreographing for brothers and sisters, creating moments like these that you'll cherish long after the wedding is over.

Capturing the fun, candid moments between family members is what weddings are all about. My goal is to make the dance practice itself a fun-filled family activity.

The ultimate girl squad. Getting the bride's sisters and cousins together for a dance is always a highlight of the sangeet.

A happy moment with the bride squad at a Haldi ceremony. These are the memories that make weddings so special, and a group dance is the perfect way to create more of them.

About this collection

Think you have two left feet? Do not worry. I specialize in breaking down complex beats into easy steps that your parents, chachas, and mamis can actually enjoy. We skip the intense drilling and focus on moves that look great on video but feel natural to perform, ensuring your Sangeet becomes a party, not a rehearsal.

The best weddings are the ones where everyone is on the dance floor, not just the professionals. My goal is to bridge the gap between 'I can't dance' and 'that was a blast.'

How we make it work:

  • For the Non-Dancers: If you have never danced before, we focus on step patterns that are repetitive and high-impact. It is all about the attitude and the smiles, not getting every hand movement technically perfect.
  • Sangeet Choreography & Flow: I don't just teach steps. I help with song mashups, transitions, and stage blocking so your family performance feels like a show, not a chaos. Whether it is a slow romantic track for the parents or a high-energy Bollywood number for the cousins, the sequence is designed to keep energy levels high.
  • Remote vs. In-Person: Based in Bangalore, I offer in-person sessions at your home or a rented studio. If your family is spread across cities, my remote video tutorials are a lifesaver. You get mirrored videos, 8-count beat breakdowns, and professional audio editing so everyone can practice in their own time and sync up for the big day.
  • The 'Family Dhamaka' Factor: I love working with diverse age groups. I modify steps so the kids and the elders can share the floor comfortably. We want the Haldi and Mehendi functions to feel lively and inclusive.

Ultimately, my choreography for beginners is about comfort. If you can walk to the beat, we can build a dance routine around it. Mazza aa jayega!

I’m Aakanksha, and yes, I went to IIT Roorkee before realizing my real degree was in dancing. I do not believe in stiff performances or perfect technique; I believe in the 'zor ka jhatka' of pure fun. Let’s get your family off their chairs and onto the dance floor.
