I believe that beauty often lies in simplicity. These fondant-free cakes use velvety buttercream and ganache as a canvas for fresh flowers and delicate, textured artistry.

Who says you need fondant for stunning cakes? This collection shows two of my fondant-free designs, one with fresh greenery and macarons, and another with a beautiful floral hoop, both using buttercream or ganache as the base.

About Elegant Buttercream & Floral Art

Most people assume you need fondant for clean lines and structure, but I prefer the natural finish of white chocolate ganache or buttercream. It stays soft and cuts beautifully, offering a much better taste experience than processed sugar paste. When you choose these designs, you are prioritizing the quality of the sponge and the richness of the frosting over a stiff, sugary coating.

I started Daffodils because I wanted to prove that you do not need thick, rubbery fondant to have a showstopping cake. My approach centers on the natural beauty of high-quality ingredients, which is why I work primarily with Swiss meringue buttercream and white chocolate ganache. These materials allow for a silkier mouthfeel and a cleaner taste that fondant simply cannot replicate.

My Process in Mumbai

Every floral arrangement is placed by hand after the frosting has set. Because I use real blooms and delicate textures, these cakes require specific temperature control during transport. Based in my Andheri studio, I manage the logistics to ensure your cake arrives looking exactly as it left my kitchen.
