Kinetic & Gravity-Defying Cakes in Mumbai
Cakes that spin, light up, and challenge the laws of physics. I engineer these edible centerpieces to bring a layer of interactive magic to your milestone celebrations.
Here is one of my favorite gravity-defying designs. This cake features a fully edible, hand-sculpted Mickey Mouse holding up a two-tier birthday cake, bringing a touch of Disney magic and structural wonder to the party.
For the ultimate superhero fan, this Avengers cake features Hulk's hands appearing to hold up the entire structure. It combines iconic characters like Spider-Man, Captain America, and Thor into a gravity-defying centerpiece.
This pastel pink fairy cake is designed to create a moment of pure enchantment. With a gentle touch, the delicate wings begin to flap, bringing the entire three-tier creation to life with soft, elegant movement.
This design is a recreation of my original flapping butterfly cake, a concept that has since been embraced by bakers worldwide. It features a little girl on a swing and beautiful, light-up wings that flutter gracefully.
This is one of my signature levitating cakes, where Iron Man actually floats and spins above the cityscape. It’s a design that combines detailed sculpting with magnetic technology to create a truly super-powered effect.
An ocean adventure with a powerful twist. This gravity-defying cake features a giant, hand-sculpted orange octopus holding up the top two tiers, creating a stunning visual centerpiece for an under-the-sea themed party.
This rotating science-themed cake brings the lab to the party. It features a bubbling flask with a dry ice smoke effect on top, creating a fun and theatrical experience for curious minds.
Why stand straight when you can do a handstand? This all-edible, anti-gravity cake was designed for a pajama and basketball themed party, featuring a character balancing the birthday cake upside down.
This under-the-sea cake uses a clever structure to create a gravity-defying illusion. A friendly octopus appears to hold up the top tier, surrounded by hand-sculpted crabs, fish, and other sea creatures for a first birthday.
A cake designed for a football lover, with a twist. This creation features a hand spinning a realistic, edible football on one finger, capturing a moment of skill and fun in cake form.
About Kinetic & Gravity-Defying Cakes
These cakes are not just baked; they are engineered. Because they involve internal armatures, motors, and delicate light-up elements, I require a minimum of 15 days' notice for these designs. This lead time allows my team to conduct stability tests and source the specific mechanics needed to ensure your spinning carousel or gravity-defying structure remains perfectly balanced throughout your event.
When you choose a kinetic design, you are moving away from traditional pastry work into the realm of structural engineering. I start every project by sketching the mechanics before we even touch the ingredients. Whether it is a rotating castle, a cake with flapping wings, or a levitating element held by magnetic tech, the process is inherently complex.
My studio in Andheri West is where these designs come to life. Because of the weight of the internal armatures, most of these setups are designed to be 70% edible. The remaining structure is hidden, food-safe hardware that creates the illusion. I handle the rigging and on-site assembly myself to ensure the cake doesn't just look good, but functions as planned.
We have created everything from Marvel-themed gravity-defying cakes in suburban Mumbai to spinning carousels for milestone birthdays. If you are planning an event, consider the space available; these mechanical cakes require a stable, level surface for the motors to operate correctly. We provide a dedicated air-conditioned van for transport, as these fragile structures cannot handle standard delivery methods. If you want a centerpiece that keeps your guests talking, let's talk about the logistics first so we can make it happen safely.

I’m the baker who says yes first and figures out the mechanics later. When you see a cake that spins or hovers, it is not magic—it is the result of my team’s late-night trial, error, and obsession with making edible art move.
