Buttercream Floral Cakes in Mumbai
I treat buttercream like paint to create edible garden art that is as fresh as it is personal. From delicate, scattered blooms to bold, textured palettes, every flower is piped by hand.

About Buttercream Florals ๐ธ
I use a stable, temperature-controlled blend of Swiss Meringue and American buttercream to achieve razor-sharp edges and intricate piping detail. This ensures your floral design stays intact during Mumbai transit, even when the humidity is high. Every bloom you see is hand-piped or palette-knife painted to order, meaning no two cakes are ever identical.
Your Vibe, My Canvas
Floral cakes are not just about aesthetics; they are about texture and taste. I focus on two primary techniques for this collection: palette knife painting for that 'Old Money' artistic finish, and traditional piping tips for delicate, 'balletcore' rosettes.
Why Buttercream?
I prefer buttercream over fondant because it offers a better mouthfeel and a softer, more natural aesthetic. My signature Swiss Meringue buttercream is less sugary than standard frostings, allowing the flavor of the sponge to shine through. Whether you want a monochromatic sage green cake with subtle white rosettes or a bold, vibrant sunflower design, the buttercream allows for complete color customization to match your event theme.
The Process
When you book a floral design, we start with your mood board. Are we going for a 'Clean Girl' minimalist look with tiny, scattered buds, or a dramatic, moody floral arrangement on a black buttercream base?
- Design Phase: Send me your reference photos or just tell me the vibe. I will suggest flower types and color palettes that suit the size of your cake.
- Execution: I bake everything fresh. Large floral installations require a minimum of one week of notice so I can source the right tints and prepare the structural buttercream.
- The Finish: I often accent these designs with fresh, pesticide-free flowers or edible gold leaf to pull the whole look together.
If you have a specific color palette in mind for a birthday, anniversary, or engagement, let's chat about how we can pipe that vision into reality.
