Behind the Scenes: The Real Journey of Designing Offices
You see the final polished photos, but here is what actually goes into it. From site visits and construction dust to those late-night calls, this is the raw journey of building your workspace.
What a year it's been. This video is a little summary of all the different projects we worked on, the styles we explored, and the hard work that went into it all. It's been a journey of tears and laughter, and I'm so proud of what we created.
This is what it looks like before the magic happens. A quick trip to a Bengaluru site shows the reality of construction: checking wiring, planning layouts in empty rooms, and getting our hands dirty. This is the foundation of every beautiful project.
About Behind the Scenes: The Real Journey
Designing an office is not always a smooth, glossy magazine shoot. It is a bit like a Mumbai local ride... there are construction delays, wiring headaches, and days where you wonder if the design will ever come together. I handle the site supervision and coordination so you do not have to get your hands dirty, managing everything from electrical cabling to ceiling fixes while keeping the vision on track.
I believe in transparency about the process. Whether I am working on a turnkey office in Powai or a commercial site in Bengaluru, the reality is that the most critical work happens before the furniture arrives. We start with space planning to ensure your team is not just sitting in a row of desks but actually working efficiently. I get down in the mud, literally, checking gypsum levels, mapping out Cat6 data cabling, and ensuring the acoustic baffles are actually absorbing sound instead of just looking trendy. My approach to commercial interiors involves 'thoda jhatka' (a few bumps) in the construction phase, but I navigate them with daily site supervision. I do not believe in hiding the progress from you. When we hit a snag with vendor timelines or material availability, we figure it out together. By the time we install the custom reception desk or the moss wall, it is not just a pretty space, it is a functioning asset that handles the daily grind of your business. If you are worried about the mess or the noise, I will be the one on-site making sure the teams follow the safety protocols and keep the site clean enough to work around. Every office has a personality, and my job is to uncover it while keeping the budget and timelines practical. I enjoy the challenge of awkward layouts or limited storage, as it is where we get creative with hidden mirrors and smart corners.
