Kids Dance Classes & Creative Play in Sector 45
My classes are for little dynamites who prefer chaos to straight lines. We mix Bollywood dance with rhythm games and art to keep kids moving, laughing, and learning.
One day, my little chipmunks decided I was their art project. It was so heartwarming to see them concentrate so hard on drawing their version of me.
Sometimes the class is pure, playful chaos, and I love it. Here we are taking a break from choreography to just have some fun with a toy horse.
About More Than Just Dance
You won't find rigid lines or strict routines here. My sessions are designed for 3 to 8-year-olds who have too much energy to sit still. We balance Bollywood choreography with creative play, art projects, and rhythm games, ensuring that while the music is playing, the kids are actually building confidence and social skills instead of just following steps.
At Cut The Fat, I treat kids like the little personalities they are. A child’s development isn't just physical—it's about expression. When I say we’re 'more than just dance,' I mean we make room for the days when they’d rather draw or play with props than drill a perfect step. Seeing them focus on a drawing or run around with a toy horse is just as important to me as them nailing a hook step.
Why the Chillar Party works
I lead every class myself, so there’s no gap between the instructor and the kids. We do Bollywood-inspired freestyle that’s perfect for burning off all that excess energy. The goal is to build a positive relationship with movement early on. It’s not about exams or perfection; it’s about feeling the music, making friends, and having a safe space to be silly.
Class Logistics
- Location: We’re based in an air-conditioned basement studio in Sector 45 with laminate flooring, which is safe for all the rolling, jumping, and dancing we do.
- Schedule: Classes run Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. That’s 12 sessions a month, giving them a consistent routine.
- Batch Size: I keep groups small (8 to 12 children) so I can give every kid the attention they need.
Does your child need experience? Absolutely not. Whether they have two left feet or are natural performers, they fit into our gang. Just bring them in comfortable clothes, let them be themselves, and watch them find their rhythm.
Cut The Fat with Malvika
I’m Malvika, and I run Cut The Fat with the belief that fitness should be fun, not a chore. I don't just teach dance—I manage a small army of 'chipmunks' who keep me on my toes every single day.
