Behind the Scenes of My Handmade Creations
Get a peek into the beautiful chaos of my workshop. This is where the magic happens—from sourcing fabrics to packing your orders with love.
People ask me what I love about myself. I am very 'mehnati'. I truly enjoy my work, and the beautiful mess of my workshop is where the magic happens.
They say a mother can't run a business, but I am raising two babies: my child and my dream. This is the hustle of a mompreneur, from managing inventory to setting up exhibition stalls.
The festive season is a time of happy chaos. Here is a glimpse of me sorting materials and creating your beautiful decor pieces, surrounded by flowers, beads, and fabrics.
Wondering how to decorate your home for Diwali? From vibrant torans to elegant Shubh Labh hangings, I am busy creating everything you need to light up your celebrations.
My workspace is filled with color and creativity as I get your Diwali orders ready. This video shows some of the beautiful pieces I am working on, all handcrafted with care.
Hi, I’m Richa, the face behind Customised Treats. This is my journey of turning a small idea into a growing family of happy customers and unique creations. Welcome to my world!
Every order deserves main-character energy. I take great care in packing each item, ensuring that your handmade treasures reach you safely and beautifully.
A quick tour from the exhibition entrance to my stall. It was wonderful to meet so many of you and showcase my hampers and Kanha Ji collection in person.
I believe in delivering exactly what I commit. The crowds and happy faces at my exhibition stall are a testament to the love and trust you place in my work.
Thank you for the incredible response at the exhibition. I am truly grateful for everyone who came by to support my Rakhis and Kanha Ji dresses. Your love keeps me going.
About Behind the Scenes: Handmade with Love
Every piece you see here starts as a rough sketch on my dining table. When you order, I do not just pull it off a shelf; I hand-select the beads, measure the fabric, and assemble it from scratch. This process takes time, so if you are eyeing something for an upcoming festival, reach out a few weeks early to ensure I have the capacity to perfect the details.
Creating isn't just work for me; it is my 'sukoon' (peace). People often see the polished hamper or the intricate Kanha Ji poshak, but they do not see the hours spent mixing and matching lace, or the late nights while my house is quiet. Running a handmade business alongside being a mother is real, messy, and rewarding.
The 'Customised Treats' Way
I believe in transparency. Everything you see is made by me, which means there might be tiny, human imperfections—that is part of the 'mehnat' (hard work). I do not believe in mass production. When you ask for a custom gift, I listen to your stories, your inside jokes, and your preferences.
Why Book Early?
Because I manage the production, design, and packing myself, my hands are only so fast. I handle all orders personally to make sure the quality stays true to what I promised. If you are planning for a major festival like Diwali or Raksha Bandhan, sending a message well in advance helps me give your order the attention it deserves. I ship across India, so no matter where you are, a piece of my workshop can reach your home.
