Every piece I design is made to fit standard door widths of 36 to 38 inches, so you won't need to worry about complex measurements before purchasing. Because I use stiff canvas and high-quality velvet, these torans hold their shape beautifully even after the festival season ends, making them a reusable, durable addition to your mandir or main entrance.
More than just door decor
When I sit down to create these, it isn't just about matching a color scheme. I want your guests to feel that sense of welcome the moment they step up to your house. I personally select the velvet or raw silk bases because they provide that rich, festive look that plain fabric just cannot achieve. The motifs, whether it is Ganesha, Radha Krishna, or Khatu Shyam Ji, are all hand-placed and stitched to ensure they stay put through the daily wear and tear of a busy household.
Practical care for your toran
Since these are handmade with delicate embellishments like gota patti and ghungroo, a little care goes a long way. I recommend dusting them lightly with a soft, dry cloth. If you notice any dust settling in the beadwork, a quick shake or a very gentle tap is usually enough to keep them looking fresh. Avoid wetting them, as the zari work and intricate stitching are best kept dry to maintain their shine.
