Creative Festival Workshops for Kids
Festivals are for family, fun, and making memories. I help kids connect with our traditions by getting their hands messy and their creative sides active, right at your doorstep.
Our Janmashtami celebration is a complete experience. We started with crafts like painting a Maakhan Plate, followed by storytelling and a bhajan session to immerse the kids in the spirit of the festival.
Involving kids in rituals is very important to me. During our Janmashtami event, every child participated in the aarti, learning about the traditions in a hands-on way.
Look at all our adorable Radhas and Krishnas. Dressing up is a fun part of our festival celebrations, getting everyone into the festive mood before the activities begin.
My workshops are also a place to make new friends. Here, two little girls dressed as Radha are enjoying a dandiya dance during our Janmashtami party.
A peek at the beautiful, kid-friendly decorations we set up for our Janmashtami celebration, creating a festive and welcoming atmosphere for everyone.
This is what pure, creative joy looks like. I love seeing kids get completely lost in the process of making something with their own hands, like these beautiful clay Ganeshas.
For Dussehra, we did something special. The kids worked together to build a Ravan effigy from scratch and then we had our own little Ravan Dahan. It was a powerful way to learn about the story of good over evil.
Our Diwali special art lesson involved creating these beautiful paper diyas. It was a simple, safe, and colourful way for the kids to make their own decorations for the festival of lights.
For Holi, I created this entire decor using sustainable and upcycled materials. It shows that you can have a vibrant, festive celebration while still being kind to our planet.

About Making Festivals More Memorable
Whether it’s Janmashtami storytelling or making your own Diwali diyas, I bring the entire setup to your home or community space. I handle everything from materials to the final cleanup, so you don't have to worry about the 'messy' part—only the joy of seeing the kids create something they are proud of.
Festivals are more than just dates on a calendar; they are opportunities to build traditions. At Curious Minds, I bring that philosophy to life through activities that mix culture with hands-on art.
Why Hands-on Matters Instead of just buying decor or sweets, kids learn the meaning behind the celebrations through participation. For Janmashtami, we don’t just dress up; we paint our own Maakhan pots and discuss the stories behind the legends. For Dussehra, we build a Ravan effigy together to talk about the victory of good over evil. It is messy, yes, but that is where the real fun happens.
What I Bring to Your Party
- All-Inclusive Kits: From clay for Ganesha idols to sustainable materials for Holi garlands, I bring everything required for the session.
- End-to-End Cleanup: You won’t be left with paint everywhere. I manage the setup and the post-activity cleanup so parents can relax.
- Custom Themes: Planning a festival party for your housing society or family? I tailor activities to the age group—from toddlers to teenagers—ensuring everyone stays engaged.
Eco-Friendly Focus I am big on sustainability—save the planet, na! We use upcycled boxes, non-toxic colors, and recycled materials whenever possible. My goal is to make this festive season less about screen time and more about creating, bonding, and laughing together. If you want a session that leaves the kids smiling and the house tidy, let’s chat.
Curious Minds DIY
Hi, I’m the heart behind Curious Minds. I used to design logos, but now I prefer designing messy clay tables and happy faces. I believe kids need more than just paint; they need space to laugh, breathe, and create something unique with their own hands.
