About Wedding Garland & Flower Preservation
The most important part of this process happens the moment your event ends. Flowers must be delivered to my studio immediately so I can start the dehydration process. Using specialized silica sand, I extract moisture to lock in the 3D shape of your petals, which is how they remain preserved inside the resin.
How Preservation Works
When you send your varmala or wedding flowers, they go through a careful dehydration phase using silica sand. This is necessary to retain their 3D shape before I begin the multi-layer resin pour, which ranges from 10mm to 15mm in thickness. This creates a durable, clear encasing that protects your memories.
Important Considerations
Please keep in mind that biological material changes after drying. Some color shift is natural, but I work hard to capture the original essence of your flowers within the resin. Whether you want a flat-lay platter or a custom frame, I arrange your petals, photos, and wedding date to tell your specific story.
