About Custom Photo & Calendar Platters
When you order a photo or calendar platter, you are not just getting a generic frame. I personally mix the pigments, place the gold leaf, and embed the high-resolution photo by hand, which means every piece has a unique, agate-like swirl that cannot be repeated exactly. It is not about perfect manufacturing; it is about the touch of a human hand on your special moment.
I started creating these resin platters because I wanted a way to hold onto memories that felt more substantial than a standard frame. Whether it is a wedding photo that captures the beginning of forever or a calendar date that marks the day you met, I treat every piece as a small project of devotion.
How We Customize Your Piece
- Photos: I use your high-resolution images for the central focus. We place them securely inside the resin so they are protected from dust and fading.
- Calendar Dates: For anniversaries or birthdays, I use gold vinyl decals to highlight specific dates on a calendar layout. It turns a standard gift into something deeply personal.
- The Agate Look: I use epoxy resin that cures with a high-gloss, glass-like finish. By hand-pouring the pigments and gold or silver leaf, I create those natural, irregular edges that mimic agate stones.
Caring For Your Art
These pieces are durable and waterproof, but they are pieces of art, not industrial products. I recommend keeping them away from direct, harsh sunlight for long periods to keep the colors vibrant. When cleaning, a simple wipe with a soft, dry cloth is all you need.
