Handmade Resin Coasters and Small Art Pieces
I often experiment with new ideas in my studio. These are my latest small-scale creations, from resin coasters to bookmarks, made with plenty of patience and heart.
Every artist has moments of trial and error. This was a happy moment for me, celebrating a finally successful resin coaster after a lot of practice. It's all about patience.
About Additional Creations
Getting the resin mix and flow perfect for a coaster takes quite a few tries. It is all about the timing, as waiting too long makes it cloud, while acting too soon stops it from leveling. When it finally cures clear with the gold leaf floating just right, it is a satisfying feeling to see the light catch the edges.
These smaller pieces are where I get to experiment the most. While I love working on larger projects, there is something peaceful about sitting down with a coaster, a bookmark, or a keychain. It is a slow process of mixing, pouring, and waiting, but the result—a piece of art that catches the morning light—is worth every minute.
I often hear people ask why I do not use more expensive materials. The truth is, art is not in the price tag, it is in your hands, your focus, and your patience. Whether I am embedding gold leaf into a coaster or trying a new pigment mix for a keyring, the philosophy stays the same. My process is simple: I prepare the base, choose the colors, and let the resin do its work.
It is a bit like life, actually. You prepare the best you can, and then you have to trust the flow. If you are looking for small, meaningful gifts or just want to add a touch of handmade art to your home, I am always happy to chat about ideas. Chalo koina smit nu karan banie (let's be the reason someone smiles).
