About Seaside Family Adventures
Beach sessions operate differently than a studio shoot. Because we are at the mercy of the elements, we work exclusively during the Golden Hour—either sunrise or sunset—to ensure the light is soft and cinematic. This means there is no rushing, no stiff posing, and no artificial studio lights. We simply meet, walk along the shore, and I document the connection between you and your children as the day begins or ends.
While studio sessions offer a controlled, minimalist environment, my outdoor photography embraces the unpredictable joy of the Mumbai coast. Whether we are at Aksa Beach, Gorai, or Borivali National Park, the goal is to let your family be themselves.
Logistics and Practicalities
- The Light: We schedule sessions strictly during the Golden Hour (6:30–8:30 AM or 4:30–6:30 PM). This is when the sun sits low, providing that warm, earthy tone that makes family portraits feel nostalgic and timeless.
- Wardrobe: Since there are no private changing tents on the beach, I recommend arriving in your first outfit. If you plan to change, we keep it simple and limited to one or two outfits to maximize our time capturing moments rather than managing clothing.
- Comfort: The beach is a playground, not a stage. If your little ones want to run, splash in the water, or collect shells, we let them. My job is to follow that energy, not stifle it.
I bring lifestyle props like picnic blankets and vintage mirrors to create small pockets of intimacy, but the main feature is always the vast, open space of the sea and sky. These sessions are perfect for families who want to break away from tradition and have a collection of images that feel like a vivid, tangible memory of a Sunday well spent.
