Pure & Simple Studio Portraits: Authentic Family Memories in Mumbai
I create clean, minimalist portraits in my Borivali studio that focus entirely on your family's connection, not just a pose. These sessions capture the authentic, quiet moments you will want to look back on forever.
The view from dad's shoulders is always the best. This studio portrait captures the pure joy and laughter between a father and son, set against a simple white background to let their connection shine.

Art creating art. A mother and her daughter make their mark on a canvas, their hands side-by-side. This interactive studio session is a beautiful way to document shared activities and creative bonds.
About Pure & Simple Studio Portraits
My studio sessions in Borivali are built around comfort, especially for young children. We do not rush through setups. Instead, I schedule enough time for little ones to settle in, explore the space, or even have a snack break if needed. This patience allows me to capture those genuine, unscripted expressions that define your family's dynamic better than any perfect pose ever could.
Why Minimalist Studio Portraits Work
The beauty of a clean, neutral background is that the focus remains entirely on your family. There are no heavy props or distracting sets to hide behind. It is just you, your children, and the little interactions that actually matter. By stripping back the extras, we make sure the final images are about the people in them, not the backdrop.
What to Expect at The Crayon Studio
My Borivali West studio is designed specifically for these quiet, intimate family sessions. We aim for 60 to 90 minutes of relaxed shooting time. This is plenty for two distinct looks—usually one formal portrait and one playful setup where kids can be themselves. Because the space is private, it is a safe environment for newborns and toddlers who might otherwise feel overwhelmed by outdoor locations or public studios.
Preparing for Your Session
I often suggest wearing coordinated outfits, like denims and white tees, to keep the visual tone consistent and timeless. You do not need to worry about being 'photo-ready' in the traditional sense. My job is to guide you into natural positions where you feel comfortable. If your toddler is feeling energetic, we run with it. If you want a quiet cuddle, we pause for that. I am here to help you navigate the session, not force you into stiff, uncomfortable positions.
The Final Result
You will receive 12 to 15 high-resolution, retouched digital images. I personally handle the signature skin smoothing and bright color grading to ensure the final gallery feels warm and cohesive. These are the portraits that will remain on your wall for years, long after the little ones have grown up.
