Mat Pilates Instructor Certification Training
Learn to teach Pilates grounded in anatomy and movement science. Our certification program is designed for serious practitioners who want to master the craft of instructing, not just mimic a routine.
This video lists five key reasons to become a Pilates instructor with my program, including the rewarding career path, high demand, and learning from an internationally trained faculty.
Here I explain who can benefit from the Level 1 Mat Pilates certification, from those seeking a new career in fitness to existing professionals like yoga trainers and physiotherapists.
Discover the power of Pilates! This image shows me assisting a student with a Pilates ring, a prop you'll learn to use to enhance workouts. This is the kind of hands-on guidance I provide.

A fun fact about the origins of Pilates. Joseph Pilates originally developed his method, "Contrology," to rehabilitate soldiers, which speaks to its deep roots in restorative exercise.

About this collection
This is not a weekend workshop where you memorize a sequence and walk away. My Level 1 Mat Pilates certification is a 40-hour deep dive into movement science, anatomy, and biomechanics, specifically designed to help you teach safely. We spend the time on practical drills and teach-back sessions so that when you finish, you are actually ready to lead a class, not just hold a certificate.
A Science-Based Approach to Teaching
Many certification programs focus on memorizing exercise lists, but that leaves you stranded when a client has a unique injury or posture issue. My program starts with the basics of anatomy and biomechanics. Whether you are a physiotherapist, a yoga teacher, or a fitness professional, you need to understand how the body actually moves to guide your clients effectively.
What the Certification Includes
- 40-Hour Contact Program: A rigorous 5-day offline schedule where we prioritize hands-on practice over theory slides.
- Practical Teaching Drills: You will lead sessions and receive real-time feedback on your verbal and visual cueing. We teach you how to modify exercises for different bodies, from athletes to those recovering from chronic pain.
- Comprehensive Resources: You receive a physical manual covering 200+ exercises and guidance on using props like stability balls, foam rollers, and resistance bands.
Flexible Learning Options
I understand that your schedule might not allow for a full week off. We offer:
- In-Person Intensive: Held at our Jayanagar studio in Bangalore and periodically in major cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Ahmedabad, and Jaipur.
- Hybrid Option: For those without a medical background, this includes a mandatory 20-hour online anatomy foundation course followed by the intensive practical workshop.
Career Support
Passing the exam is just the beginning. I view this as a mentorship. Graduates gain entry into our alumni network, where we share job leads and tips on setting up a freelance practice. If you are ready to put in the work, I am here to help you build a career that lasts.
Aditi Singh
I am Dr. Aditi. I built this program because I grew tired of seeing instructors who only know choreography but lack the anatomical knowledge to actually correct a student. Whether you are a physiotherapist or a fitness enthusiast, I want to teach you the 'why' behind the movement. Come ready to work, study the biomechanics, and leave with the ability to change how your clients move.
