A look into the diverse, vibrant heart of our collective, where stories, art, and conversations come to life in our Kengeri space.

Welcome to Courtyard Koota. We are more than just a venue; we are a collective of passionate individuals dedicated to building a space for stories, conversations, and connections. This is a quick look at our home and the wonderful people who bring it to life every day.

A soulful evening of folk songs and stories with Chaoba Thiyam from Manipur. Our indoor stage is perfect for these intimate musical sessions, where the artist and audience share a close connection under the warm lights.

This is what a 'Koota' or gathering looks like. Our outdoor courtyard filled with people sharing food and laughter during a Local Food Club potluck. Community is at the center of everything we do, and nothing brings people together like good food and great conversation.

The energy is electric when the Malhar Laugh Club takes over our stage. Here's a shot of Nishant Suri performing to a packed house, proving that our space is as much for roaring laughter as it is for quiet reflection.

Learning and growing together in our breezy outdoor courtyard. This was an organic home gardening workshop with Garden City Farmers, where participants got their hands dirty and learned about sustainable urban living.

Our cozy library corner transforms into a space for heartfelt conversations. Here, author Andaleeb Wajid discusses her book "Learning to Make Tea for One" in an intimate session, perfect for book lovers and curious minds.

The joy of our annual Makkala Masti Habba, our community outreach program for children. This festival is a celebration of creativity, learning, and performance, bringing together kids from local schools to share their talents and build confidence.

Our library space doubles as an art gallery, as seen here during the "Wild Whispers 2.0" exhibition. We love transforming our venue to showcase incredible visual art, bringing stories from Wayanad and beyond to our community.

We believe in the power of theatre to build community. This poster is from our first Koota production, Girish Karnad's "Wedding Album," which brought together a mix of community members and professional actors on our stage.
