Meditative Motion Graphics and Surreal Art Loops
Immersive, looping animations that blend science, nature, and surrealism to set a distinct mood for your brand or project.
Titled "Symbiosis," this looping motion poster explores the deep connection between feminine figures and the natural world. The animation creates a dreamlike, immersive environment filled with symbolic imagery and surreal interactions.
A warm, vibey GIF inspired by listening to the artist Fourtet. This piece is an example of how I create mood-based animations, using glowing colors, gentle motion, and a surreal floral landscape to evoke a feeling of calm and magic.
This process video shows the creation of a surreal illustration, from initial linework to final color and shading. It offers a glimpse into how I use Procreate to build the detailed foundational artwork for my animations.
About Meditative Motion Graphics & Loops
I work primarily in After Effects and Procreate to build these loops, focusing on hand-drawn frame-by-frame details that give them a raw, personal feel. These are not standard meme GIFs; they are narrative-driven, seamless experiences designed to capture a brand's unique soul through subtle, meditative movement.
My Approach to Motion
Motion allows me to bridge the gap between static illustration and narrative depth. Whether I am using 2.5D parallax to create environmental depth or frame-by-frame liquid morphing for a surreal transition, my goal is always to create a piece that feels alive.
Where these work best
- Social Media & Feeds: Replace static images with loops that catch the eye without being aggressive. Perfect for setting a brand tone.
- Spotify Canvas & Digital Covers: I design specifically for vertical video and streaming platforms, ensuring the animation loops perfectly while conveying the emotional weight of your track or book.
- Conceptual Posters: Using motion to emphasize a feeling—be it anxiety, calm, or bioluminescent wonder—adds a layer of interactivity that print simply cannot touch.
The Workflow
We start with your core concept. I then move to the sketch stage where we solidify the composition and narrative beats. Once the motion is finalized, you get two rounds of revisions to ensure the timing, pacing, and color palette align exactly with your vision. I prioritize working with those who want something a bit offbeat and emotionally resonant.
