Animated Book Covers

I bring stories to life before the first page is turned. Using After Effects, I create animated covers for science fiction and literary works, capturing the soul of the narrative through surreal and meditative motion. This includes conceptual projects for classic authors like Ray Bradbury.

Meditative Motion Graphics & Loops

I create immersive, looping animations designed to set a mood or tell a small, continuous story. These artistic GIFs and motion posters are perfect for brands, social media, or anyone wanting a vibey, surreal visual that stands out. I often build these from complex illustrations, using gentle movement to pull the viewer in.

The Nature of Being: Womanhood & Biology

This collection is from my graduate thesis, exploring feminine existence by drawing parallels with nature. Through themes of bioluminescence, botany, and surrealism, I visualize the complex relationship between our inner and outer worlds. These illustrations often serve as the foundation for my animated pieces.

Editorial & Commercial Work

I collaborate with publications, brands, and musicians to create compelling illustrations that communicate complex ideas. My work has been featured by clients like The New York Times and Bandcamp, covering topics from sociogenomics to artist profiles. I adapt my surreal style to fit the narrative of each project.

Exploring Emotional Ecosystems

This is a personal series where I visualize emotions as complex, surreal ecosystems. Each piece explores a different feeling, like anger, sadness, or escapism, by creating a world around it. These illustrations are available as prints and can be developed into pattern designs or animations.

Zines & Narrative Art

I enjoy telling stories through sequential art and print. This experimental Risograph zine explores the complex, bittersweet feeling of nostalgia through a non-linear narrative. It combines personal memories with universal recollections, using a distinct three-color printing process.

Process, Awards & More

A look behind the curtain at my creative process, professional recognition, and typographic experiments. This section includes my hand-lettering projects and images celebrating awards from publications like Creative Quarterly, offering a more complete picture of my work and journey as an artist.
