About Animated Illustration
How I See Animated Illustration
Animation lets me blend movement with meaning. I use it to explore themes like womanhood, nature, and the way science and emotions overlap. I’m drawn to digital tools, but I love making things feel organic and a bit dreamy. If you want something that’s more than just decoration—something with a vibe, a mood, a story—I’m your person.
What I Make
- Digital animated book covers that capture a story’s soul before you even read the first line.
- Meditative motion graphics, from hand-lettered animation synced to music, to surreal loop animation posters that set a tone for a brand or mood.
- Artistic GIFs for social media, not your standard meme stuff. I like making loops that feel warm, vibey, and a bit trippy—great for anyone who wants their feed to stand out.
My Style
I go for narrative-driven animation with a surreal edge. I use bold colors, lots of linework, and gentle loops to pull you into a small, immersive world. My work often explores psychology, femininity, and science fiction, but I like mixing things up.
How I Work
I mostly use After Effects and Procreate. Sometimes, I’ll get into hand-drawn frame-by-frame animation for that raw, personal feel. I keep learning and switching things up, so my style’s always evolving. If you’re after something personal and a bit offbeat, I’m up for it.

My Story
Hey, I’m Noopur. I get totally lost in drawing out what it means to be a woman, and how that ties in with nature’s wild patterns. My grad thesis at MICA, ‘The nature of being,’ was me connecting womanhood and science with the natural world. Hands-on stuff is my jam - acrylics, pencils, sketchbooks everywhere. But digital art and making things move? Love that too. Seeing my work in places like The New York Times, honestly, it’s wild and humbling.
My Work
Visual Design & Illustration Projects - I create editorial illustrations, posters, book covers, and love jumping into creative collabs.
Surreal Feminine & Nature Themes - My art dives into self-preservation, bioluminescence, and the link between bodies and nature.
Mixed Media & Motion Graphics - I switch between acrylics, color pencils, digital tools, and sometimes add motion graphics for magazines.
Editorial & Collaboration Experience - I’ve worked with Bandcamp Weekly, The New York Times, and on fiction contest posters.
