Detailed Ink Illustrations and Custom Pen Art

Every dot is a thought. I use fine liner pens to capture raw emotion, from quiet village moments to intricate spiritual portraits that tell a story.

This detailed ink illustration of Jesus was drawn on the go, held up against the sky. It shows that inspiration can strike anywhere, and I'm always ready with my sketchbook and micron pen.

The completed ink drawing of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. I used fine cross hatching and line work to create a sense of reverence and detail in the foliage, robes, and expression.

A close up, in-progress shot of the Jesus illustration, showing the fine tip of the micron pen as I build up the texture of the leaves with careful strokes.

An angled detail shot of the ink drawing, highlighting the depth created by the dense cross hatching technique in the shadows.

This video captures my process of turning a simple street scene of a woman and her donkey into a clean line art illustration, proving that art can wash away the dust of everyday life.

A simple yet powerful ink illustration titled "Amma," capturing the universal bond between a mother and her child. The drawing is displayed on a small stand, showing how even small art can make a big impact.

About this collection

I create each piece by hand using archival-grade micron pens, layering fine cross-hatching and stippling to build depth. Before I start the final inking, I share a rough layout sketch to ensure the composition matches your vision, so the final result is exactly how you imagined it.

There is a quiet permanence to ink that I love. Unlike pencil or digital media, there is no undo button with micron pens, which forces me to be intentional with every stroke. I often use stippling for soft, realistic shading or dense cross-hatching when I want to emphasize texture and light.

My work in this series ranges from personal sketches of daily life in namma Bengaluru to detailed spiritual illustrations, like my work on the Sacred Heart of Jesus. I always work on high-quality, archival-grade paper to ensure these pieces last for years, whether they are meant for a private desk frame or a small wall space.

The Process

When you commission an ink piece, we start by discussing the story you want to tell. It could be a portrait of a loved one, a memory from a visit to Chikmagalur, or a scene that holds personal significance. I send a mid-stage layout photo for you to confirm before I begin the final, permanent detailing. This ensures that the micro-expressions and shadows align with what you have in mind.

Because these are manual, time-intensive drawings, each piece requires roughly 4 to 7 days of dedicated work. If you are looking for something that feels raw, textured, and deeply personal, let's talk.
