Architectural Projects Under Construction
Architecture is as much about the process as it is the final structure. Here is a look at the site work, material testing, and structural foundations currently shaping our active projects.
The Courtyard House in Hyderabad during construction. It's a moment of organized chaos as craftspeople work on the flooring, bringing the raw concrete structure to life.
An aerial drone shot of the Courtyard House under construction. This view reveals the complex geometry of the stepping courts and pergolas that are integrated at every level of the home.
A steel and concrete staircase takes shape within the Courtyard House. The image shows the raw structure and the interplay between different materials before the finishing touches are applied.
Reviewing mock-ups on site at the Courtyard House in Hyderabad. This is a crucial step where we test material junctions and finishes with our team of contractors and craftsmen.
A mock-up detail at the Courtyard House, testing the junction between the black stone flooring and the grey granite wall panels. Precision in these details is something we obsess over.
A close-up of material mock-ups at the Courtyard House site, showing the contrast between a polished black stone and a textured grey granite.
House K in Hyderabad begins to take shape. This photo shows the concrete and steel frame ready for its zinc roof and final finishing.
The exterior of House K under construction, with its sloped roofline and large glass openings. The project uses a combination of concrete and stone sourced from the site itself.
Inside House K, workers stand within the large, open-plan space. The image shows the exposed steel beams and wooden underlay of the roof structure.
The dramatic, black exposed concrete of the lowest level of Office A in Hyderabad. This raw, cavernous space contrasts with the light-filled volumes planned for the upper floors.
About Works in Progress: The Making Of
Before we commit to a finish or a wall structure, we build it at full scale. On every site, we construct 4ft by 4ft mock-ups to test mortar, material junctions, and light, allowing our clients to see and touch the texture before the main structure is finalized.
Construction is rarely a clean process, and that is where the most important decisions happen. Whether it is sourcing granite off-cuts from local quarries or testing how black pigmented concrete cures, our work on-site is about solving problems in real time. We treat these construction phases as essential design development.
Why the Site Matters
We do not believe in handing over a set of drawings and walking away. Our team maintains weekly site visits because the real design happens when materials meet the sun and wind. We coordinate directly with local contractors and craftsmen, training them on our specific finish requirements and waste reduction techniques. This hands-on approach allows us to make adjustments to joinery or electrical layouts that we might not have spotted on a screen.
Material Exploration in Progress
When you look at our current projects, you will see a mix of materials—from waste granite and debris blocks to custom zinc roofing. We use these construction phases to document the building's logic, showing how structural waffle slabs or steel reinforcement frames provide the skeleton for the finished home or office. By sharing this progress, we hope to demystify the architectural process and show that a great building is the result of thousands of small, focused choices made on-site every single day.
