Online Scratch Coding Competition for Kids
Turn screen time into skill time. Join our global Scratch coding competition and let your child build their own games, animations, and stories.
This is our global online Scratch Coding Competition, designed for kids aged 6 to 15. The colorful graphic shows a young girl learning to code on her laptop with the Scratch mascot, illustrating how we make learning to code a fun and accessible experience.
In this video, I personally walk you through everything you need to know about the competition. We cover how it boosts creativity and confidence, the support we offer beginners through free webinars and practice links, and even a special Amazon voucher referral program for parents.
This short, animated video gives you a quick overview of our Scratch Coding Competition. It highlights the two age categories, Junior (6-9) and Senior (10-15), and reminds you that every participant receives an e-certificate for their hard work.
See what your child can create. This is a fully functional "Fruit Ninja" style game built from scratch by one of our students after just three months in our coding foundation course. It shows how we help kids turn their favorite games into their own creations.
Here’s a look behind the scenes at the Scratch interface. On the left, you can see the simple, colorful drag-and-drop code blocks our students use, and on the right, you see the live football game they created. This is how we make coding visual and intuitive.
About Featured
We believe coding should be like playing with blocks, not memorizing complex syntax. Whether your child is 6 or 15, this competition is designed to meet them where they are. After registering, they get a full month to explore, practice with our provided templates, and build their unique animation or game. It is all about the joy of creating something that actually works on screen.
How It Works
This is not just about winning prizes. It is about giving your child a tangible goal. Once you sign up, you gain access to our orientation webinar, where we explain the Scratch interface—a drag-and-drop system that makes logic visual.
Categories for Growth:
- Juniors (Age 6–9): Focus on animations or simple interactive stories.
- Seniors (Age 10–15): Build functional games with scoring, levels, and logic.
Why This Competition?
- Build Confidence: Watching a character move because they wrote the code is a massive confidence booster.
- No Experience Needed: We provide step-by-step practice links. If they are beginners, they have the time to learn the basics before the deadline.
- Certification: Every single participant receives an e-certificate. It is a great addition to their digital portfolio.
The Community Touch
We started this to bring accessibility to coding. We know parents are busy, so we keep the process simple. Plus, we have a referral program—if your friends join, you earn Amazon vouchers. It is our way of thanking you for building this community with us. If your child gets stuck or feels nervous, just reach out. We have seen kids turn from 'I cannot' to 'Look what I made!' in just a few weeks.
