Candid Engagement and Proposal Photography

Most people feel stiff in front of a camera, so I don't force you into awkward poses. For engagements and proposals, I usually set up a scenario—like a walk on the beach or a quiet conversation—and then just step back. You get photos where you actually look like yourselves because the emotions, even the nervous ones, are real.

Engagement shoots are about the transition from 'me' to 'us.' When I shoot these sessions, whether it is a surprise proposal in Mumbai or an intimate engagement ceremony, my priority is the atmosphere. You are likely nervous or excited, and my job is to make sure you forget I am even there.

My Approach

I do not believe in standard poses. If you look at my work, you will see that I look for the 'in-between' moments—the way you look at each other when you think no one is watching, or the genuine surprise on your face when a ring comes out. We can do this in my studio in Malad, or we can go to a location that holds meaning for you.

• Candid Portraits: I focus on natural movement. We might do a session with a vintage car or just a simple walk during golden hour. You move, I follow.
• Cinematic Films: For engagements, I often include voiceovers. Hearing your own words or vows years later is what makes these films a true keepsake.
• Flexibility: Whether you are in Surat or planning a destination surprise, I travel. The energy remains the same—raw, honest, and focused on your connection.
