Our residency provides the dedicated studio space, professional mentorship, and exhibition platform you need to transition from student to independent ceramic artist.

This is the culmination of our residency program: a professional artist showcase. We provide the platform for our resident artists to present their body of work, share their stories, and connect with the art community in Bengaluru.

Here is a look into the creative process of our resident artist, Ishita. The residency provides the time and space to move from initial sketches and small models to creating large scale ceramic sculptures, navigating the challenges and joys of working with clay.

Mentorship is a cornerstone of our residency. We facilitate invaluable sessions where artists receive direct feedback and guidance from established figures in the art world, like the incredible ceramicist Kate Malone, helping them refine their craft and expand their creative horizons.

From the initial spark of an idea to the final fired and glazed piece, this is the result of our six month residency. This video showcases the stunning and diverse ceramic art created by our artists, ready for their debut exhibition.

Our residency program is designed to give you everything you need to focus on your art. This includes dedicated studio space, access to materials and firing, mentorship from senior artists, and a supportive community to grow with.

Meet Ishita, one of our resident artists. She shares her journey from sculpture to ceramics and what she hopes to achieve during her time at Clay Station, from scaling up her work to experimenting with new glazes and techniques.

The artist showcase is more than an exhibition; it's a space for connection. Here, artists, mentors, and art lovers engage in meaningful conversations, sharing insights and celebrating the journey of creation together.

This is the kind of powerful, evocative work that emerges from our residency. We support artists in developing a cohesive collection that tells a story, culminating in a professional showcase like "Hands That Hold Time."
