Most tailors avoid working on heavily embroidered blouses because they fear ruining the beadwork. I don't just cut and sew. I carefully detach borders and adjust panel seams to ensure your heavy Zardosi work stays perfectly intact while getting you that gap-free, comfortable fit.
Whether it is a Saree blouse, an Anarkali, or a Sharara, ill-fitting clothes kill the look. My approach starts with fixing the structural issues that others ignore. If your blouse shoulders are falling or there is a gap in the bust, it is usually an issue with the dart positioning or the armhole contouring. I fix these by repositioning cups and tapering the torso so the fabric sits flat against your ribcage, not just guessing the size.
For heavy lehengas or outfits with Zardosi or Maggam work, I use a border-detach-and-reattach method. I never cut through the heavy embroidery. For saree lengths, I calibrate based on your specific footwear, whether you are wearing flats or heels, so you do not trip or lose the elegant drape.
