About Hand-Sculpted Animal Friends
I don't use molds, so every bird or creature has its own unique posture and personality. Since I coat each piece with a water-resistant varnish, they handle humidity quite well in your garden pots, though I always recommend keeping them out of harsh, direct midday sun to keep the clay colors vibrant for years.
I create these miniatures using oven-baked polymer clay, which is surprisingly tough once cured. Whether you are looking for a pair of bluebirds for a wedding gift or a lone crane to sit beside your jade plant, each piece is shaped individually by hand in my studio.
How to Style Your Miniatures
- Garden Accents: Place surface-sitters like my robin birds directly onto pebbles or moss within your dish gardens.
- Plant Stakes: For my birdhouse or insect stakes, push the rust-free metal wire deep enough into the soil so the character stands steady even if the plant moves.
- Desk Buddies: A small clay animal on a flat wooden base works perfectly as a paperweight or a quiet companion for your laptop workspace.
Why Handmade Matters
Working without molds means my hands are on every single piece. You might notice tiny variations in the feather texture or the shape of a beak—that is just a reminder that these were made by a person, not a machine. If you have a specific bird species or a pet in mind that you would love to see as a miniature, just let me know. I love taking on custom requests that capture a specific memory or feeling in clay.

I am the person behind these clay creations, and honestly, sculpting is my quiet escape from the noise of daily life. When I am not stressing over oven timings or cleaning clay off my desk, I am pouring my heart into these tiny bird friends. I hope they bring as much calm to your space as they do to mine.
