Why Chess for Kids?
I see chess as way more than a game—it's a brain workout. Kids today have distractions everywhere. Here, they pick up real skills: focus, patience, and handling wins and losses. I've watched kids walk in shy and unsure, and walk out thinking three steps ahead, both on the board and off.
Our Approach
- Since 2011, we've stuck to basics: strong foundation, steady progress.
- Classes run twice a week, with monthly progress checks. Parents actually see the growth.
- Our flexible set-up: join us in Jayanagar, Bangalore or go for our live online chess lessons for beginners. No commute? No problem.
- We keep group classes small (10-14 max), so your child isn't lost in the crowd. Want full attention? One-on-one is there too.

My Story
Chess Shoots started in 2011 with just one goal - give kids a fair shot at the chess board, no big upfront fees, no boring classes. We’ve seen tiny pawns turn into queens, 7000+ students, 200+ medals, and Jayaram sir always reminding us - discipline matters but fun does too. Parents say joining us was a ‘very good decision’ and that’s our real trophy. For us, it’s about building a community, not just collecting cups.
