About Welcoming Entrances & Passageways
When we start decorating, the main gate and the entrance passageway are the priority because that's where the festive feeling hits first. I use a mix of vibrant drapes, Rajasthani umbrellas, and hanging florals to make sure your home stands out from the street. It is not just about looking good, it is about making sure your neighbours and guests know exactly where the celebration is happening.
Creating a welcoming entrance is all about the details. Whether you have a small apartment door or a multi-story house, my team focuses on making the transition from the street to your home feel special.
Why the Entrance Matters
Your entrance sets the tone for the entire event. I use dense, multi-coloured fabric drapes to cover up bare walls or uneven gate structures, ensuring a clean, festive look. The 'Shaadi Wala Ghar' signage is my signature touch—it’s bold, it’s traditional, and it instantly tells everyone in the neighbourhood that a celebration is on.
The Setup Process
For staircases and narrow passageways, we use hanging vines and fabric swags to wrap railings, which keeps the walkway clear for guests while adding colour. We often use Rajasthani umbrellas and tassels to add weight and traditional charm to the upper levels of the facade.
Handling Tight Spaces
I have decorated everything from cramped parking lots to grand building facades in Rohini and across Delhi NCR. If a space is awkward or the weather is tricky, we find a jugaad (fix). We use professional scaffolding for exterior work, ensuring that the lights and fabrics are secured properly for the duration of the wedding week.
What we include:
- Gate Masking: Covering metal or unsightly gates with starburst fabric patterns.
- Exterior Draping: Vertical drops from roof to ground to hide building facades.
- Floral Accents: Artificial floral arches and hanging bouquets that withstand the weather.
- Lighting: Warm white or yellow LED strings woven into the drapes for evening visibility.
