Traditional Home Entrances for Auspicious Events
Create an authentic, welcoming atmosphere for your home function. We use fresh banana leaves, coconut weaves, and local flowers to bring a traditional temple feel to your doorstep, entirely plastic-free.
A closer look at our traditional chapara entrance. The pillars are crafted from intricately woven coconut leaves, and the overhead decoration is made of dense red and white flower garlands with small brass bells. This is a classic design for housewarmings, weddings, and other home poojas.
Another view of the bride standing under the traditional flower canopy. The combination of red and white flowers is a timeless choice for wedding ceremonies, symbolizing purity and celebration. We ensure every detail of the entrance decor is perfect for photos.
The bride's smile shows the happiness that a beautiful, traditional setting can bring. Our goal is to create a welcoming atmosphere that honors our culture, making moments like these even more special. This entrance decor is perfect for a mane pooje.
About Traditional Home Entrances
Everything we build, from our banana stem pillars to the mango leaf torana, uses only organic, locally sourced materials. We wake up early on your event day to bring fresh flowers from the market, so your entrance looks vibrant and smells naturally fragrant from the moment guests arrive.
Our approach is simple: keep it traditional and keep it real. We do not believe in using synthetic flowers or plastic props. For a home entrance, we focus on the elements that define a classic Indian ceremony, the ones you remember from growing up.
When you book a Traditional Home Entrance setup with us, here is what we focus on:
- The Chapara: We build authentic canopy structures using hand-woven coconut leaves. It is an art form that brings a rustic, temple-like warmth to your home entrance.
- Floral Integrity: We use Nati (local) flowers like marigolds and chrysanthemums. These are chosen for their scent and longevity compared to imported varieties.
- Auspicious Elements: From fresh banana stems tied with turmeric and kumkum at the door to the Mavina Torana (mango leaf string), every piece of our setup follows traditional customs.
Whether you are hosting a housewarming, a naming ceremony, or a mane pooje, our goal is to take the pressure off you. We handle the sourcing, the installation, and the cleanup. You just have to tell us the space available and the date, and we handle the rest, 'aaramagi' (in a relaxed way). We travel to Bangalore, Mysore, and across Hassan to ensure your home looks its best for your special day.
