Epic Rangoli for Events & Festivals
I turn large floor spaces into massive, vibrant canvases. Whether it is a temple jatra, a corporate launch, or a festival celebration, I bring my custom Sanskar Bharti and charcoal art to life right before your guests' eyes.
For the Ugadi festival, I created this massive 30 by 30 foot rangoli at a major Bangalore mall. This video shows the scale of my work and how a traditional Sanskar Bharti rangoli can transform a large public space, making it a centerpiece for any event.
Watch me create a 20 by 20 foot Sanskar Bharti rangoli in just one hour. This performance at the Shri Shantika Parameshwari temple in Kumta demonstrates the speed and precision I bring to my large scale rangoli projects for religious and cultural events.
To celebrate the IPL season, I was commissioned to create this 15 by 15 foot rangoli tribute to RCB at the GT World Mall in Bengaluru. This shows how I can adapt my art for corporate events and brand activations, capturing the excitement of fans.
About Epic Rangoli for Events & Festivals
For a 15x15 to 30x30 ft installation, I require a flat, clean floor space, either indoors or in a covered area, to ensure the powders hold their shape. If you have a specific logo, cultural theme, or event concept, sharing the details with me 48 hours in advance allows me to plan the geometry and color palette so I can start working the moment I arrive.
Every rangoli I create is a live performance. When you hire me for a 150 to 225 sq ft installation, you are not just getting a finished piece of art, you are getting an interactive experience for your guests. I typically spend 3 to 5 hours on-site, using anywhere from 20kg to 40kg of non-toxic, art-grade rock powder to layer in the details.
My process blends the traditional Sanskar Bharti style, which relies on intricate, concentric patterns, with a modern, freehand approach. If you want something more contemporary, like a realistic portrait or a brand logo for a corporate activation, I switch to crushed charcoal and white stone powder for that high-contrast, monochrome finish. I have handled everything from temple jatras in Kumta to high-energy IPL fan zones at malls in Bengaluru.
Logistics are simple. I bring my own materials and a small assistant team to manage the filling and detailing. You just need to ensure the surface is dry and the crowd flow allows for a 3 to 5 hour setup window. Whether it is for a wedding, a product launch, or a festival, I adapt my speed and design style to match the energy of your event.

I am Chandan, and for me, art is about that raw connection with the crowd. Whether I am painting a giant Ganesha or a tribute to our favorite cricket team, I love watching the space transform and seeing people stop to take it all in.
