Rangoli is more than just a welcome sign. It is a meditative practice that brings tradition to your doorstep. I hand-draw every kolam using vibrant colors and natural elements to create a warm, welcoming vibe for your home.

The making of my Mahashivratri special rangoli, depicting the Ardhanarishvara form of Shiva and Parvati. It starts with a simple sketch and is brought to life with layers of colored powder.

This five hour effort resulted in my Pongal special rangoli, featuring the Thanjavur Big Temple and the traditional sweet pongal pots.

A vibrant rangoli I made for the Pongal festival, celebrating the harvest with a pot of overflowing sweet rice, sugarcane, and a kite.

A serene Buddha face rangoli, surrounded by lotus flowers and Bodhi leaves. I used bright colors to create a peaceful and welcoming design.

A time lapse of me creating a large rangoli of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, finished with a border of flower petals.

A colorful butterfly rangoli to brighten the day. The simple white kolam patterns on the steps add a traditional touch.

Another view of the Pongal rangoli, showing the details of the overflowing pot.

Here I am, adding the final touches to my Pongal rangoli. It's a labor of love.

Me with my finished Buddha rangoli. Creating art on the ground connects me to the earth.

About Rangoli & Kolam: Ephemeral Beauty

Creating these designs is a meditative process for me. Whether it is a detailed Thanjavur temple depiction for Pongal or a serene Buddha face, every rangoli is sketched and filled in by hand on the spot. If you have a specific festival or occasion coming up in Bengaluru, let's discuss a design theme that fits your entryway.
