Children's Theatre Workshops and Creative Summer Camps

We do not just teach scripts here. Every session starts with theatre games and improvisation, which helps shy children break out of their shell before we even touch a play. Whether it is voice modulation with the harmonium or learning to stand tall, we focus on building genuine confidence that stays with them long after the performance ends.

At Chalo Theatre Studio, we believe theatre is about family and community. When kids come to our summer workshops, they are not just learning lines, they are learning to listen, react, and trust their peers. Led by me, Binod Sharma, and our team of National School of Drama (NSD) alumni, we use a mix of fun exercises and professional techniques to keep engagement high. In our 4-week immersion programs, we cover everything from body language and diction to basic Bollywood and Kathak dance steps. We believe in learning by doing, which means every child gets to step onto a real stage. For our older batches, we work on full-scale productions like 'Go Green,' where they handle props, costumes, and audience interaction. It is not just about memorizing text, it is about understanding the character and owning the moment. We keep our batch sizes small so every child gets personal attention, whether it is during our music training or physical exercises like yoga. Based in Gurugram, we offer both intensive 4-week camps and short introductory workshops. The goal is not to create professional actors, but to help children become articulate, confident, and expressive individuals.
