Theatre and Drama Classes for Kids in Civil Lines
Let your bacchhas step into the spotlight!
A behind-the-scenes look at our theatre class where students are building characters for their play. Through physical exercises and group work, they learn to embody different roles and express emotions non-verbally.
Our theatre workshops involve various interactive exercises to build skills. Here, students engage in scene work, improvisation games, and group discussions to develop their acting abilities and learn to collaborate on a story.
Storytelling comes to life during our celebration of the Ramayana. We use costumes and interactive performance to teach children about cultural epics, making history and mythology engaging and memorable.
Our book club is more than just reading; it's an interactive storytelling session. We use games, crafts, and discussions to explore narratives, helping children connect with literature and each other in a fun, social setting.
About On Stage: Theatre & Drama
In partnership with Dramabaaz Company, we guide children through role play and stage craft rather than just teaching them to memorize lines. Whether your child is shy or a natural performer, they will find their feet here as we focus on voice modulation and building confidence in small batches of 6 to 12 kids.
Our approach to drama goes beyond simple acting. We use a Drama in Education method where the focus is on the process of creating characters and stories rather than the final performance. This helps children develop empathy, learn how to structure their thoughts, and manage stage fright in a safe space.
What to Expect
Each session is designed to be interactive. We work on body language, facial expressions, and vocal projection through games and improvisation. Your child will not just learn to act but will also learn to listen and collaborate with others. We provide all the props, scripts, and costumes needed for practice, so you do not have to worry about the logistics.
Batch Structure
We keep our batches small to ensure every child gets personal attention. This is essential because we believe that when a child feels heard, they are more willing to experiment. We work with both English and Hindi scripts, allowing children to be comfortable in whichever language they express themselves best. It is all about giving them the freedom to try, fail, and get back up again. Sab theek hai, as we say here at the studio, because every mistake is just part of the learning journey.
