About Traditional & Cultural Celebrations
When we do a cultural shoot, I handle the wardrobe so you do not have to scramble for props. I use lightweight, kid-friendly fabrics that look perfectly traditional but do not scratch or irritate sensitive skin, so your little one can actually move, play, and smile naturally during the session.
Cultural photoshoots are about more than just a costume; they are about connecting your child to your family's story. Whether it is a traditional Moggina Jade portrait or a mischievous Little Krishna theme, my goal is to ensure the setup reflects the richness of the culture without forcing your child into a rigid, uncomfortable pose.
The Cultural Portrait Experience
For these sessions, I rely on my extensive collection of premium, traditional wardrobe pieces and accessories. You get full access to these during our 2.5-hour high-production shoots. I know how important authenticity is, so I focus on details like the draping of silks and the placement of traditional jewelry to make every shot feel genuine.
How We Manage the Shoot
- Comfort First: My Whitefield and Dommasandra studios are designed to be safe, cozy environments. I provide all the props, which keeps the workflow simple for you.
- Custom Styling: Whether you want a mythological theme or a classic festive look, I tailor the lighting and background to match the mood of the attire.
- Limited Family Participation: In my specialized cultural sessions, the focus remains primarily on your child to ensure we get those candid, magical expressions. We can include one or two family shots, but the priority is letting your little one shine.
These sessions typically result in 20 to 25 retouched art portraits, providing you with high-quality keepsakes that honor your traditions.
Casper Photography
I’m Benedicta, and I believe our roots are worth celebrating. I don't just dress your child in a costume; I create a space where they feel comfortable enough to giggle, move, and be themselves while looking every bit like the Little Krishna or traditional prince or princess you want to remember.
