About Newborn & Milestone Moments
I know that a fussy baby or a mid-shoot tantrum can be stressful for parents. That is why my studio sessions are always relaxed and patient, with built-in time for feeds, diaper changes, and cuddles so your little one feels secure and happy before we take a single shot.
Capturing the First Year
Photography in the first year is less about posing and more about patience. Whether your baby is just a few days old or hitting the six-month milestone, my approach is to let them lead the way.
Newborn Sessions
For newborns, the priority is absolute safety and warmth. My studios in Whitefield and Sarjapura are temperature-controlled and quiet, creating a sanctuary where your baby can sleep soundly while I capture those delicate, tiny details. I handle the swaddling and the posing gently, ensuring your baby is never uncomfortable.
Milestone & 6-Month Shoots
Once they hit that six-month mark, babies are curious, wiggly, and full of expression. This is the perfect time for milestone portraits. I avoid rigid structures, preferring to use props like rattan baskets, balloons, or soft textiles that allow your baby to sit, crawl, or play while staying safe. If they want to reach for a prop or make a silly face, I am right there with my camera to catch it.
A Note on Planning
- Timing: For newborns, reach out during your third trimester so we can pencil in a date around your due date. For milestone sessions, aiming for the 6 to 8-month window is ideal as it is when they are usually sitting up confidently.
- Wardrobe: I provide all the wraps, headbands, and outfits for our studio themes. You only need to bring yourself, your baby, and their feeding essentials.
- The Vibe: My goal is to capture the beauty of simplicity. While I have plenty of themes available, the photos that usually end up on parents' walls are the ones where a child is simply being their authentic, messy, and joyful self.
