About Intimate Fire Arts: Palm Torches & Close-Up Flow
Palm torches are different from big staffs because they behave like extensions of my hands. They require a smaller space, just 15x15 ft, making them perfect for intimate parties or lounge settings where you want that wow factor without the full stage production of a giant fire show.
Why Palm Torches?
People often associate fire performance with massive, chaotic flames. While I love the big stuff, palm torches bring a different energy. They allow for intricate, dance-like movements, close-up interactions, and a level of control that makes the flames look like they are dancing with me. It is less of a circus spectacle and more of a mesmerizing art form.
Where It Works Best
These acts are perfect for venues like Macaw or similar intimate lounge settings. Because the footprint is smaller, I do not need a massive stage. If you have 15x15 ft of clear floor space, we can make it happen.
The Safety Stuff (No Joke)
I treat fire with respect. Even though it is a smaller setup, safety is non-negotiable. I always bring a dedicated safety marshal, fire-safe equipment, and I do not perform in spaces with synthetic carpets or low ceilings.
- Duration: Typically 15-20 minute sets.
- Logistics: We need a secluded area for fuel dipping.
- The Vibe: High-energy, visually trippy, but grounded in real technique.
If you want something that keeps guests captivated without feeling like a massive stage production, this is the way to go. Let us make some magic.
