Before I became a coach, I was a cadet. My training philosophy at Road to Trail Club is built on the same grit and discipline I learned at Rashtriya Military School.

A mandatory fitness check whenever I visit my alma mater, Rashtriya Military School. Still got it.

I'd go back to military school and do it all again. It shaped the discipline and mindset I have today.

Pointing to my name on the monument at my school. A moment of immense pride and nostalgia.

Standing at the entrance of my school, under the sign: "Where lessons for valour and leadership never end."

"Sheelam Param Bhushanam" - Character is the highest virtue. This motto from my school guides me to this day.

"Ye dil maange more." A small tribute to our armed forces on Kargil Vijay Diwas, with some pull-ups.

It's a privilege to have my name inscribed on the monument. A nostalgic look back at my school.

Driving through the gates of my alma mater. Some roads always lead you back home.

When you run past your old school, pushups are mandatory. A little 'ragda' for old times' sake.

My watch showing a 22km run. Doing this long run near my alma mater was a different feeling.

About My Military School Roots

The 'ragda' is real here. Just like in my cadet days, we incorporate high-intensity, quick-fire drills—like mountain climbers, lunges, and jump squats—right before our runs. It is not just about getting a sweat on; it is about building the mental switch you need to push through the last 5 kilometers of a marathon when your legs are begging you to stop.
