Road to Trail Club: Our Squad

RTC is more than a group; it's a running family. We welcome everyone, from first-timers to pros, creating a supportive, no-nonsense crew that trains hard and has fun. Our sessions are built on mutual encouragement, whether it's a Monday tempo run in Cubbon Park or a weekend long run.

Train Like a Commando

My training philosophy is built on a commando mindset: discipline, strength, and resilience. We focus on functional fitness for runners, incorporating varied workouts like HIIT, Fartlek, tempo runs, and essential strength and conditioning to build a robust, injury-proof body.

Race Day: Chasing Medals

I prepare my runners for everything from their first 5k to a full marathon like the Tata Mumbai Marathon. This is where all the hard training pays off. We celebrate every bib collected and every medal earned, because each race is a story of dedication.

The Trail & Ultra Challenge

For those who want to push beyond the road, I offer specialized coaching for trail and ultra-marathons. We train on the rugged terrains of Nandi Hills and prepare for challenging races like the Malnad Ultra 100km, building the mental grit and physical endurance required for extreme distances.

My Paw Friends

We are a proudly dog-friendly running club. My furry friends, especially my running partner Batman, are the heart and soul of RTC. We welcome all pets and believe that the unconditional love of a dog makes every run better.

My Military School Roots

My "commando mindset" comes from my time at Rashtriya Military School, Bangalore. The discipline, strength, and leadership lessons I learned there are the foundation of my coaching philosophy and my life. It's an honor to have my name on the school's monument.

More Than Running

Life is about balance. While running is my meditation, I also believe in cross-training with activities like cycling and kayaking to build all-round fitness. It's also about having fun with my squad and giving back to the community we run in.
