Our Pack: The Dogs of Canine Conditioning
Meet the working line German Shepherds and Dutch Shepherds that define our program. These dogs are more than breeding stock or athletes; they are our family.
A very happy birthday to me, the founder of Canine Conditioning. My life's work is dedicated to these incredible animals.
Heeling with passion and energy. This is me with Solan and Simran with Yugen, working our two top males in sync. This showcases the different breeds we work with and the consistent quality of our training.
Four dogs, two breeds, one pack. This video shows our dogs working together in obedience drills and protection hits. This is the Canine Conditioning way.
My aggressive mumma, Karma. She is the foundation of our German Shepherd line, and her intensity is legendary. Even by the fire, she is always alert and guarding.
A quiet morning moment with Karma. Even a high-drive working dog can be a wonderful companion. This is the stable temperament we breed for.
Blessing your feed with the mother of all, Karma vom Baadshah Kennels. Her presence is powerful, and her legacy lives on in her offspring like Yugen.
Another portrait of Karma. Her structure, expression, and intensity are everything we look for in a foundation female.
Karma, the matriarch of our GSD line, in her element. She is a true working dog through and through.
This is Polly z Jirkova dvora, our female imported from the world-renowned Jinopo Kennels in the Czech Republic. At 14 months, she is developing into a strong, confident female for our program.
A compilation of a day's bitework session with Solan, Yugen, Yoko, and Quinn. It shows the variety of dogs in our program, all demonstrating focus, drive, and a solid grip.
About Our Pack: The Dogs of Canine Conditioning
When you look at our dogs, you are not just seeing pets. You are looking at years of selection for nerve, drive, and stability. My wife Simran and I live with these dogs, train with them, and rely on them every single day. If you want to understand our philosophy, watch how Karma handles a quiet morning or how Solan works a bite sleeve. It is not about forcing obedience; it is about building a relationship where the dog chooses to work because they trust you completely.
Our Breeding Philosophy
We do not breed for looks. We breed for grit, nerve, and structure. Our foundation, like Karma, comes from proven DDR and Czech working lines. These are not dogs you leave on the couch. They need a job, they need training, and they need a handler who understands how to manage high-drive animals. We select for temperament first, ensuring every pup has the potential for PSA sport or real-world protection.
The Canine Conditioning Way
It is just Simran and me. When you look at our videos of Solan working a bite sleeve or Yoko learning boundaries, you are seeing real-time, hands-on training. We do not have a massive club or a team of assistants. We raise our pups on natural ground, not concrete, and we expose them to the real world early. If you are looking for a protection dog or a sports prospect, you need a dog that has been tempered by life experience, not just textbook drills.
Why We Are Transparent
We are honest about what these dogs require. If you are a beginner looking for an easy pet, we might tell you to look elsewhere. However, if you are ready for a dog that will push you to be a better handler, we might be the right fit. From board and train to stud services for our Dutch Shepherds, we keep it transparent, raw, and focused on the work.
Varun Anand
I am Varun, and my wife Simran and I run this setup together. We do not have a massive facility or a huge team because these dogs are our family, and they live right here with us. We handle every detail, from breeding to daily training, because that is the only way to ensure the level of work we demand.
