A champion is built, not born. We start training from a young age, focusing on building drive, confidence, and a solid foundation in obedience.

Baby Yoko's first outing to a PSA club. We wanted to see how he would handle a new environment, and he was confident and engaged. Early exposure is key.

Simran and I working with baby Yoko on his first club day. We use play to build drive and focus from the very beginning.

Simran introducing Yoko to different toys and textures. This builds confidence and a desire to engage, which is crucial for future training.

Our champion stud, Solan, teaching puppy Yoko about the can curtain used in PSA. The older dogs play a huge role in socializing and desensitizing the younger ones.

Yugen working on bite confidence. We introduce controlled pressure and environmental distractions early on to build a dog that is courageous and will not back down from a challenge.

Young GSD Yoko learning the fundamentals of bite work. This is a foundational session with me as the decoy and Simran handling, ensuring he builds a full, calm grip.

A great morning session with my star boy Yugen. This is foundational protection work, building his confidence and drive on the sleeve.

The first session with puppy Avasa and her owners. We start training as early as possible, especially with first-time working dog owners, to build a strong foundation and understanding of the breed.

Teaching Yugen to problem-solve during a retrieve exercise. We allow the dog to make mistakes and figure out the solution, which builds a more thoughtful and confident working partner.

Baby Felicia, from our Karma x Renzo litter, starting her obedience training with me. She has a lot of potential, and we are building her foundation step by step.

About Foundation Training & Puppy Development

A puppy's potential is capped by their environment, not just their pedigree. We don't believe in teaching 'sit' in a sterile living room; we take our pups to clubs, expose them to decoys, and let them solve problems around distractions from day one. If you are looking for a dog that will be a challenge and a partner, not just a quiet pet, this is where that foundation is built.

Foundation training for a working line dog is about more than just basic commands. It is about conditioning the dog's nerve and drive so they can handle the pressure of real-world tasks or sport competition later in life. Whether you have a Working Line German Shepherd or a Dutch Shepherd, the approach remains the same: heart before habit.

Why Early Foundation Matters

Most people make the mistake of waiting until the dog is older to start 'serious' work. We start with imprinting at 4 weeks, exposing puppies to textures, sounds, and prey drive activation (rag work). This isn't just play; it's how we build a confident dog that won't crack under environmental stress. If your dog is a 'prey monster' or a fearful learner, our foundation programs are designed to channel that energy into focus.

Our Process

  • Drive Building: We use play, tug work, and controlled sessions with decoys to teach the dog to grip and hold, building the base for PSA or protection work.
  • Problem Solving: We introduce 'errors' in training exercises to let the dog figure out the solution. This builds a thoughtful partner, not a robot.
  • Socialization: It is about controlled exposure. Your dog needs to see slick floors, loud noises, and different environments, but they also need to learn to ignore them when asked.

We train out of our Gurugram facility, but the real training happens in the bond you build. If you aren't ready to put in the time for daily obedience and drive work, we aren't the right fit. We only take on owners who want a dog that can work.

Simran and I run this the way we live: it's just the two of us, out there every single day. We don't have a massive team because this work demands a direct, personal bond with every dog we raise. It's us on the field, building these champions from the ground up.
