Cinematic Portrait Photography for Real Stories
I don't believe in forced poses. I look for the silence and the vibe. Whether it's a desert, a mountain, or a city street, I am here to capture how it actually feels.
This is what a desert photoshoot looks like, from the behind the scenes moment to the final cinematic shot. I used the stark, beautiful landscape and the vibrant red dress to create a powerful and memorable portrait.
I travel to epic locations like the Lahaul Valley to create a backdrop that is as grand as your story. This video shows the raw beauty of the Himalayas, a perfect canvas for a pre-wedding or travel photoshoot.
A golden hour portrait session on a rocky Mumbai beach. I focused on using the soft, warm light of the sunset to capture a natural and relaxed moment against the sea.
This session at Lodhi Garden shows how I can blend traditional Indian wear with historic architecture for an elegant and timeless portrait. I focus on capturing graceful movements and authentic expressions.
A simple car window can become a cinematic frame. This golden hour shot is all about capturing a mood, using the warm light and reflections to create a dreamy, film-like portrait.
Here’s a look at my process, showing the setup on a rocky hillside and the beautiful, natural portrait that resulted. I believe in showing you how we get from the idea to the final image.
A quiet moment captured in a grassy field for a vintage-style portrait. This kind of shoot is perfect for capturing a pensive, natural mood using soft light and earthy tones.
About Featured
I shoot exclusively with natural light, which means my sessions are tied to the Golden Hour. I don't use heavy artificial rigs, so our shoot depends on finding the right light in our location, whether that's a rocky hillside or an urban street corner. This keeps the look raw and cinematic rather than staged.
My Approach to Photography
Photography is a conversation, not a fashion show. I carry a Nikon Z6ii with a 24-70mm lens, a setup that lets me adapt quickly to the environment. Whether I am shooting on the rocky Mumbai coast or in the Lahaul Valley, I focus on the connection between you and the landscape. My goal is to capture the mood, the silence, and the small, unplanned moments that happen when you stop posing and start just being.
Where and How We Shoot
I travel across India for destination shoots. I am comfortable working in diverse environments, from the harsh light of a junkyard in Delhi to the soft, shifting clouds in the mountains.
- Golden Hour Sessions: Most of my shoots happen during sunrise or sunset. This is when the light is most forgiving and the atmosphere is best for moody, cinematic frames.
- Location Scouting: If we are shooting outdoors, I look for textures and depth rather than just a pretty background. A random bench or a weathered wall often tells a better story than a manicured garden.
- The Process: You can choose between a half-day scenic session or a full-day storyteller package. The full-day package includes more locations and a short, professionally edited reel, which helps capture the energy of the day better than static photos alone.
What to Expect
Expect a mix of candid lifestyle shots and environmental portraits. I do not use artificial lighting rigs. I prefer natural skin tones and moody color grading. You will receive high-resolution, retouched JPEG images that reflect the reality of the moment we shared. If you are looking for stiff, high-fashion editorial poses, I might not be the right fit. If you want to capture your real self in a beautiful location, let's talk.
