Outdoor & Environmental Portraits
I step out of the studio to use Mumbai’s textures and light as your backdrop. No fake posing—just you in your element.
A fashion portrait taken during the golden hour against a rustic brick wall. The warm light on the model's yellow top creates a vibrant, eye-catching image.
A full-body shot using a simple, textured wall as a clean background. This allows the model's outfit and pose to be the main focus of the portrait.
A black and white portrait using natural light and a stone pillar for framing. The motion in the model's hair adds a dynamic, candid feel to the shot.
A close-up black and white portrait where the model is holding flowers. The soft natural light and monochrome treatment create a timeless and gentle mood.
A series of portraits with a warm, vintage color grade. The use of leaves in the foreground of some shots adds depth and a sense of place.

A black and white series exploring different poses against architectural elements. These shots focus on form, light, and the interaction between the subject and her environment.

About Outdoor & Environmental Portraits
When we shoot outdoors, I don't just pick a spot that looks pretty. I look for textures, walls, and light that tell a story. Whether it is the raw architecture of South Bombay or a quiet green space, the environment becomes a character in your portrait. I focus on finding a location that matches your specific vibe so we can capture something that feels authentic rather than forced.
Photography is often misunderstood as just pointing a lens and clicking. For these outdoor sessions, I approach it differently. I am looking for the interplay between light and structure. If we are shooting on a street corner or against a weathered wall, I am calculating where the sun hits or how the shadows fall to give the image that cinematic weight.
I typically shoot these sessions using a 35mm focal length. It keeps the perspective natural, close to how the human eye sees, which makes the environmental portraits feel grounded. My editing process is minimal. I am not interested in retouching your skin until it looks like plastic. I use Photoshop for essential color grading, white balance, and contrast adjustments to ensure the mood we captured on location—whether moody greens or golden-hour yellows—comes through clearly in the final files.
These sessions are for anyone who wants to move beyond the stiff, artificial look of traditional studio work. If you have a specific location in mind that feels personal to you, or if you want me to suggest a spot in Mumbai that fits your story, we will work together to find it. This is about capturing you in your element, using the city as our playground.

I'm Aakash, and I don't believe in plastic-skin portraits. I hunt for the light and the raw texture of a location to show who you really are, not just how you look on camera.
