When I design a cake based on a specific hobby or favourite team, it is not just about the topper. I use dense, sturdy sponges for these structural designs so your cricket bat, motorbike, or shopping bag figurines stay perfectly in place until the moment you cut the cake.

Since these cakes often involve fondant figures and sculpted shapes, I use specialised internal supports to keep everything steady, even if it is a multi-tier design.
